   Introducing the "NEW" ChewchMX.com  Due to a change of employment I have relocated to the "Great Southwest", specifically Las Vegas, Nevada !!! It will still be the same High Quality Pics & Products you have come to expect from ChewchMX.com only different racers and different tracks !!!
   Unfortunately I will not be photographing the awesome racers of the Ohio area anymore (till I make it big). But, all the pics that were taken during the 2006 season will still be able to be viewed in the "2006 Archive" section of the website & all Pics and Products will still be available for purchase !!!
   I look forward to photographing the great riders from the Southwest US just as I enjoyed doing so for the Ohio riders !!!

Lucky Day For A Race

08/08/08 was a lucky number for a lot of people, including me. I was lucky enough to make it out to Sandy Valley Motocross for the third of their "Hot Summer Nights" races. Also lucky for this BEAUTIFUL sunset here in the Mohave Desert. Lucky it didn't rain. Plus I was lucky to have all of the awesome riders to get these cool pictures of.

Lucky Shot - Nuff Said

For those of you that haven't made it out to Sandy Valley MX yet, there is one more race in the "Hot Summer Nights" series on Friday August 22th. There is also the 1st annual "2008 Silver State Fall Series" Coming up. Six races, three at Sandy Valley MX & three at Mesquite MX. Hot Summer Nights - Round 2

Last Friday was the second race in the 4 round "Hot Summer Nights" series at Sandy Valley Motocross just across the border in California. It was another well attended event put on by Clark, Kit and the rest of the gang at SVMX.

A Cool "Hot Summer Night"

The Friday evening summer racing series, "Hot Summer Nights" kicked off on Friday July 11 at Sandy Valley Motocross on an unusually cool evening for the middle of summer here in the Mojave. This was the first race at SVMX since their "Spring Series" finale in May and I'm sure glad it wasn't a 110 degree day.

The first moto started just a bit late but from then on the action was hot n heavy !!!

It's always awesome out at Sandy Valley MX when the sun starts to set, especially for taking pictures. I wish the dusk would last longer so I can get a bunch more cool shots.

The next race in the series is Friday July 25, again out at Sandy Valley Motocross. As they say "Be there or be square". Once again I would like to thank Clark, Kit and all the great people at SVMX for putting on such a great event and letting me roam the track to get these pics of all the awesome riders.

Champions

Nevada/California State Motocross Championships 

The day dawned bright & clear, as always here in the desert southwest. But by the end of this beautiful day there will be champions crowned. From the 50cc beginners...

These winners will be champions. That's something that can never be taken away from them. Plus I can say I photographed champions. For us amateurs it's not every day that you can say that.
This was a much anticipated event put on by Clark, Kit and all the great people out at Sandy Valley Motocross. I was really looking forward for this race when it was announced.

Whippin'

With some new sand, new signs & a new first turn at the start, SVMX was hoppin' when I pulled in to park. The lot was so full I had to park outside the fence. I was psyched !!!

With a freestyle exhibition & a band playing after the days racing events were over, Sandy Valley MX was the place to be on this awesome spring day. The only thing missing was a fireworks show. Oh well, maybe next year.

 So if you weren't out at Sandy Valley Motocross for this first annual MX championship, well, I guess you missed it !!! Your just going to have to check out my pictures to get a feel what it was like. So when you see the advertisements next year for the 2nd annual NV/CA Motocross Championships, make sure you clear a spot on your schedule for it.
Once again I want to thank all the people out at SVMX for putting on such a fabulous event & letting me out on the track to get these awesome pictures of all the great riders that participated in this event.
